Lean Turkey meatballs
Total calories (serves 2 or 3) – 510kcal
Total protein – 80g
Total carbs – 11g
Total fat – 18g
Ingredients:
400g extra lean turkey mince
1 onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 bunch of fresh coriander (finely chopped)
Directions:
1) Fry the onion for 5-6 minutes until soft
2) Add in the spices and the garlic and fry for another 2 minutes
3) Let the onions cool, then combine and mix in with the turkey and the coriander
4) Make into 12 balls
5) Cover with cling film and put in the fridge for 15 – 30 minutes to help set
6) Preheat the oven to 200C
7) Fry the balls in a pan until lightly browned (3-4 minutes)
8) Cook in the oven for 10-12 minutes until cooked through
9) Enjoy your balls!
