This time last year I was walking Pepper
….any excuse for a dog photo (yes she is cute but there is a legitimate reason for the photo…honest).
Since moving the majority of my business online I spend most of my days sat at my computer.
I do really love my job, but sitting down all day sucks balls.
✓ Harder to lose weight
✓ Back pain
✓ Knee pain
✓ Neck pain
The answer? It’s obvious….just don’t sit down so much. Easy!
…or so I thought…
When working at a computer it seems like the hours disappear in the blink of an eye.
One minute it’s 8am and I’m settling down for a coffee and some emails…the next minute it’s 5pm, I’ve been sat down for 9 hours and I feel about as mobile as Stephen Hawking.
Unfortunately for me I really struggle to motivate myself to for a walk in the middle of the day.
So I took drastic action…I signed up to a dog walking service.
I am now official dog walker to Pepper the dog, four days a week for one hour.
Now that this little beaut is relying on me for her next walk I’m more than motivated to go out and get some steps in.
So if you’re prone to sitting down for too long and you lack the motivation to get up and go for a midday walk…join a dog walking service.
